"So many things to say......Notespeed is an excellent tool for teaching kids the notes on the staff. My kids have graduated from the musical alphabet to level 3 in just 4 lessons. They enjoy it very much. I use them as flash cards first. Once they get used to the notation and note placement, we play the game as a reward. This makes them focus harder on the flash card exercise. Side note: 5 Fathers - The memory game on Beethoven. My kids can tell you all of the information on the cards. She should sell fillers for Mozart, Bach, Gershwin, and Brahms. I think she would easily sell the add-ons. I would also add a supplemental package with other composers such as Rachmaninoff. Debussy, Chopin, important movement in music, etc. This has been so helpful in teaching my kids music history. I'm a huge fan." Notespeed is such a fantastic game to turn the mundane task of teaching notes into a fun and energetic experience for students of every age and level. My students and I are loving it. Angie Ramos - private piano teacher, Lubbock, TX
I started using NoteSpeed this semester in my private piano studio. I have been amazed at how much it has helped my students! We play for about 5 minutes at the end of each lesson and results are astounding. I began teaching two siblings in December and loaned them the level one deck to play during the Christmas break. When lessons resumed in January they knew all of those notes very solidly. I highly recommend NoteSpeed! to anyone teaching music. It is great for groups and private lesson students. I am starting to plan my Summer Camps and you can bet that NoteSpeed will be part of each of them! Rick Valentine Independent Piano Teacher Houston, TX
My students LOVE it! I am keeping a spreadsheet of "personal bests" on my laptop, and the kids are eager each week to know what time they have to beat to be the fastest! I even have an adult student playing...she's faster than the kids, so she and I have a little competition going to see who can stay on top! (We are currently tied!) This game has brought a TON of energy to lessons this summer, and even better, they are getting faster at note reading! I'm moving my studio downstairs, and once everything is moved and settled, my leader board will be on display, instead of on the computer. I also do an occasional brag post on my Facebook page to show parents how much the kids are improving and who has the current top speed. The parents are getting excited, too...they even come in at the end of lessons sometimes to watch! Jody Dingfield Sears Piano Teacher Spokane, Washington
